This year we have again joined the project Bike To Work 2021. In the project participated seven our employees, who were divided into two teams.
„I participate in this project every year. This way I combine pleasant and useful,“ states Ján Mondok from the Economic Department of the central depository. During the event our two teams rode on a bike 1 370 kilometres in total. Together with the public transport and walking we overcame 5 7000 kilometres. Thus the impact to environment was noteworthy. We saved 1 082 kg of CO2. Production of CO2 was lower by this amount compared to travelling to work by cars. „I am supporter of active life style. I travel to the city centre from Rajka. So I ride on bicycle around 50 kilometres,“ says Alena Palkovičová from CDCP.
As always, the project Bike To Work 2021 participated also our Managing Director Martin Wiedermann. He wants to motivate the employees to use fast, safe and mainly ecologic transport as are bicycle or the public transport.
„I’m glad that this event has its supporters in our company. I believe that more colleagues will join us next year“, states Martin Wiedermann.
